Roberto Narvaja

is the owner and founder of El Sur Polo. Originally from Argentina, he has been playing and teaching polo for over 20 years. Roberto has a very successful polo pony development program from which a number of his ponies are playing world-class polo by world-class players.

Heidi Hoover

has been involved with horses her whole life. She started as a hunter/jumper rider in Virginia, but moved to Wellington and has worked in polo for several years. She has a passion for working with young horses and is an equine artist having done commissioned works for the Polo Training Foundation, Gulfstream, The Villages, La Herradura, and Millbrook Polo Clubs. She will be assisting in the day to day operations at El Sur Polo Club.

Matias Obregón

Is 33 years old, was born in Argentina and raised in the USA. He is ranked at 4 goals and has played all levels of polo all over the US and in some parts of Europe. Matias loves to teach polo and says "the best part about teaching for me is watching my students fall in love with the sport".this text area you can include a description about your staff member. Santiago Torres

was born in Santa Barbara, California into a polo family. "I always knew I wanted to be a professional polo player and currently hold a handicap of 7 goals. In 2012 I won the Pacific Coast Open, in 2013 the Gold Cup, in 2014 the CV Whitney and Gold Cup and most recently the $100,000 World Cup. I continue to be inspired to become the best I can be."

Jesus "Pelon" Escapite

is a 6 goal player born in El Paso, Texas  in 1982.  He started playing polo at the age of 10, and the at the age of 19, holding a rating of 2 goals, he was given the opportunity to travel to Wellington, Florida to play with former 10 goal players Carlos Gracida and Mike Azzaro.  Within a couple of years, he became rated 4 goals, and by 2006 was raised to his current handicap of 6 goals.  Pelon has played all over the United States in all major tournaments, including the US Open, and has also played several times in Europe.

Pelon has been playing medium and high goal polo in the United States at a high level since 2000.
